Norwich Arts Center on Broadway exhibits the works of local artists and hosts First Friday concerts and events. The center is home to the Donald L. Oat Theater, a 100 seat venue perfect for small concerts and shows.
If you enjoy new first-run musical productions be sure to visit the Chestnut Street Playhouse – a black box theater whose entire season is dedicated to the full production of musicals.
A visit to Norwich wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Slater Memorial Museum on the campus of Norwich Free Academy. For more than one hundred years, the Museum has displayed and interpreted the best examples of fine and decorative art, representing a broad range of world cultures of the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa.
Otis Library provides free and open access to information, ideas, and services that anticipate the community’s personal, educational, and professional needs. The library enriches our region by maintaining a safe and welcoming environment and by offering resources that promote lifelong learning.
